Gerry has to be the the most skilled banjo player in Ireland today. He is also a fine fiddle player. On this, his third solo album, he goes back to a less produced feel, using musicians, Brendan O Regan (bouzouki, mandolin, guitar), Tommy Hayes (bodhran, percussion) and Damien Evans (Bass). Although the album features mostly traditional tunes, it also contains some tunes composed by Gerry. |
