Riobard is a well known personality in his area, not only for his superb accordion playing but his extensive genealogy research in his native Beara Peninsula. This, his first recording comprises of reels, jigs, hornpipes, marches, slow airs, set dances and his favourite polkas and slides. It also includes tunes composed by the player himself. He is accompanied on piano by Tony OÕFlaherty. |
